Northern Neck Times

The US Economic Development Administration awarded the Northern Neck Planning District Commission a grant worth $140,000 to help fund a project in Richmond County.

The grant was awarded on July 11, 2019. The EDA describes the grant as follows:

"This EDA planning investment supports the development and implementation of a comprehensive economic development strategy (CEDS) for the region served by the Northern Neck Planning District Commission. The CEDS process is designed to bring together the public and private sectors in the creation of an economic development roadmap to diversify and strengthen the regional economy."
