Westmoreland State Park issued the following announcement.
Clean the Bay Day
Where: Westmoreland State Park, 145 Cliff Road, Montross, VA 22520. Westmoreland State Park Boat House.
When: May 31, 2021 - June 5, 2021. 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Help keep the bay and its watersheds clean by removing debris along our shoreline This year, Clean the Bay Day should be called "Clean the Bay Days" as during a six-day period, participants have the flexibility to do a litter clean-up at any public location or private property where permission has been given. Stop by the visitor center between 8 AM and 4 PM to pick up supplies to help clean up the picnic area beach or Fossil Beach.
Current CDC guidelines will be followed.
