Richmond County Museum issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
The Yank with the Crystal: The International Dowsing Journey of an Animal Communicator (Honey House Press & Book Hive) by Bill Northern is for sale at the Richmond County Museum.
Per the The Rappahannock Times, the "book weaves homespun tales of lost animals found, racehorses healed, Hawaiian royalty and high-jinks in New Zealand. It features a real life cast of local people and prize-winning racehorses and figures horse racing as it visits legendary locales such as Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky, and Coolmore, Ireland, the world's largest thoroughbred breeder." Included among Mr. Northern's fabulous tales are his "tips and wisdom on animal communicating and of dowsing."
Bill, a lifelong native and resident of Warsaw, is the former owner of Wardico, Inc. He is kindly donating profits from his book to the Museum. The book (in print and e-book) will be available later this month.
