Women's Hoops Returns Home To Host Lynchburg

27

Randolph - Macon College issued the following announcement on Dec. 3

The final home event before winter break will take place Saturday afternoon as Randolph-Macon hosts Lynchburg in women's basketball action. The two teams are off to impressive starts on the young season and are looking to build upon the early success.

Both teams were among the top of the preseason polls in the ODAC and split the three remaining first place votes Roanoke didn't receive. The Yellow Jackets received two of them and ended up being picked second, while the Hornets took the other and were chosen fifth.

So far the teams have shared just one common opponent in Mary Washington. The Eagles defeated both teams and gave the Hornets their only loss 66-57 back on November 8, their second game of the season. The Yellow Jackets recently forced overtime with Mary Washington before being defeated 84-79.

Tickets are being sold online through Ticket Spicket and can be accessed at the link on the upper left. General admission is $7 for fans of ages 13 and older.
