Applications are now available for the 2022 Hometown Heroes Program. Please note that ALL materials are due on March 25th,2022. https://www.kilmarnockva.com/.../2022/01/HTH-2022-MAY.pdf“Celebrating Hometown Heroes” Walking Tour honors military veterans from WWI to Desert Storm with banners throughout our Steptoe’s dining and shopping district. Take this self-guided, walking tour of over 200 banners and learn the stories of these veterans as you stroll Main Street.
On display all summer long, these banners honor these heroes and their service. Grab a story booklet at the Town Hall at 1 N. Main Street (in the literature box at the flag pole) or from one of our participating merchants and learn more about the contributions of these Hometown Heroes. Makes a great family event and totally FREE
