R-MC Women's Soccer Releases 2022 Schedule

The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team has released its schedule for the 2022 season. The Yellow Jackets will play an 18-game slate, eight of which are at home after accumulating an 3-4 home record a season ago.

Randolph-Macon will open the season with a home affair as Mary Washington makes the trip to Ashland in the first contest under the lights. Just 48 hours later, the Yellow Jackets will compete in the Seahawk Classic, hosted by St. Mary's (Md.), in which they will see the hosts Sept. 3 and Salisbury the following day.

From there, R-MC returns home for another non-conference clash with McDaniel Sept. 8 before a four-game stretch on the road that features Johns Hopkins (Sept. 14), Greensboro (Sept. 17), Christopher Newport (Sept. 21) and Guilford (Sept. 24).

Southern Virginia stands as the final non-conference tilt Sept. 29, a contest after the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opener at Guilford in the finale of the four-game road stretch.

ODAC play will pick back up with a home contest with Sweet Briar on the first day of October before two away games the following week. Randolph-Macon makes the trip to Lexington to see Washington and Lee Oct. 5 before a trip to Bridgewater the eighth to round out the week of away contests.

The Yellow Jackets then find four of its final six remaining tilts to be at home, starting with Shenandoah coming on Oct. 12 and Ferrum Oct. 15. The Ferrum affair will stand as Senior Day as that is the final home contest that falls on a Saturday. The first of two trips to Lynchburg, Va. takes place on Oct. 18 to take on Randolph before the final two-game home stretch features Roanoke (Oct. 21) and Virginia Wesleyan (Oct. 26). The regular season comes to a close with the final trip to Lynchburg on Oct. 29.
