Breastfeeding Support Group on November 8

Breastfeeding Support Group

Tue, Nov 8, 2022, 10:00 am - 11:00 am

At Bon Secours, we believe that breastfeeding helps build a lasting bond between mother and child. Breastfeeding isn't just a lifestyle choice, it's a health practice that's been shown to protect babies against ear infections, lower the mother's risk of breast cancer, and help moms lose pregnancy weight.

Connect with other nursing mothers and babies, receive exceptional support - facilitated by board-certified lactation consultants!

  • No fee
  • For moms with infants of all ages
Group meets in the classrooms past the cafeteria on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Group will not meet on holidays or if schools are closed for inclement weather.

Attention expectant parents: As Bon Secours continues to monitor the latest novel coronavirus (COVID-19), our clinical leaders have implemented protocols that are consistent with CDC guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of the care we provide to our patients. At this time, we are restricting visitors. In line with these restrictions, children under the age of 12 will not be allowed in the hospital as visitors for any reason, including for birthing center tours or classes. In addition, people with signs and symptoms of illness (e.g., fever, cough, sore throat, body aches) are not permitted to visit. If you have any symptoms of illness, we ask that you refrain from attending any birthing classes at this time. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe.
