R-MC Men’s Hoops Holds onto Second in D3hoops.com Top 25

 For the sixth straight week, the Randolph-Macon men's basketball team sat in second in the D3hoops.com Top 25.

The Yellow Jackets received 10 first-place votes and 609 points to trail only St. Joseph (Conn.) with 15 first-place votes and 615 points.

R-MC won twice last week to raise its overall record to 21-1 and improve to 13-0 in ODAC play. The Yellow Jackets defeated Shenandoah 96-41 at home on Wednesday and won 83-67 at Bridgewater on Saturday. R-MC has won 19 straight games this season.

The Yellow Jackets are one of three ODAC teams in the Top 25, as Guilford comes in at No. 13 and Hampden-Sydney sits at No. 17.

Randolph-Macon has a pair of home contests this week. The Yellow Jackets host Averett on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. R-MC entertains Roanoke on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. It is Senior Day, with Noah Lindsay, Miles Mallory and Josh Talbert being recognized prior to the game. It is also Alumni Day, with the annual Alumni Game at 11 a.m. All alums will be invited to the floor at halftime of the game vs. Roanoke for a group picture.
