Census Bureau: 84.1% of people in Lancaster County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 10,916 citizens living in Lancaster County in 2021, 84.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 9,180 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 4,307 were male, constituting 46.9%, and 4,873 were female, making up 53.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lancaster County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
