There were nine Asian students enrolled in Lancaster County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 80% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Lancaster County Public Schools District welcomed 1,020 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.9% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the school.

Lancaster County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Lancaster County and has a main office in Kilmarnock.

Among the three schools in Lancaster County Public Schools District, Lancaster High School and Lancaster Middle School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
