There were 22 Hispanic students enrolled in Lancaster County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 10% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Lancaster County Public Schools District welcomed 1,020 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 2.2% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the school.

Lancaster County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Lancaster County and has a main office in Kilmarnock.

Among the three schools in Lancaster County Public Schools District, Lancaster High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
