Richmond County: How many students were enrolled in Richmond County Elementary School in 2023-24 school year?

Richmond County Elementary School had the highest enrollment among Richmond County schools, welcoming 830 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 51.6% of them were female, and 48.4% were male.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 56% of Richmond County Elementary School's total enrollment.

Among the two schools in Richmond County, Rappahannock High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 544 students.

Richmond County Elementary School is part of Richmond County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Richmond County, with its main office in Warsaw.

In the previous school year, Richmond County Elementary School also had the highest number of students among Richmond County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
