Randolph - Macon College issued the following announcement on Oct. 13
The Randolph-Macon men's soccer team recorded its third straight shutout in a scoreless tie at Randolph on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened:
- Senior Penny Senior (Kingston, Jamaica/Meadowbrook) had a pair of shots on goal in the first three minutes of the match for the Yellow Jackets. Junior Alec Mowry (Salem, Va./Salem) added a shot on goal in the 26th minute for R-MC. Freshman Adam Braithwaite (Chesterfield, Va./Matoaca) had three saves in the first half.
- Sophomore Chazz Jones (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic Academy) had a shot on goal in the 56th minute. Senior Connor Lorenz (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) added a shot on goal in the 73rd minute. Senior and Jones both had shots on target late in the second half. Braithwaite had a save in the 85th minute, his sixth of the game, as regulation ended in a scoreless tie.
- The Wildcats would have the lone shot of the first overtime period in the 96th minute, saved by Braithwaite.
- Senior Colton Howell (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) and sophomore Kodi Tanner (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) both had shots on goal in the second overtime period, but the match remained scoreless after 110 minutes of play.
- R-MC recorded its third straight shutout and its eighth shutout of the season. It was the third scoreless tie for the Yellow Jackets, all coming in conference play.
- Randolph had a 15-12 advantage in shots. Senior and Jones led the Yellow Jackets with three shots each.
- Braithwaite finished with six saves.
- Randolph had a 9-2 edge in corner kicks.
- Randolph-Macon will play at Ferrum on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 4:30 p.m.
