There were 120 multiracial students enrolled in Westmoreland County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 2.6% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Westmoreland County Public Schools District welcomed 1,579 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 7.6% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the school.

Westmoreland County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Westmoreland County and has a main office in Montross.

Among the four schools in Westmoreland County Public Schools District, Washington District Elementary School and Cople Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
